Plugin Installation Issues

Plugin fails to activate

Common causes:

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check PHP version in WordPress Site Health
  2. Verify WordPress version compatibility
  3. Temporarily disable other plugins to identify conflicts
  4. Check file permissions on wp-content/plugins directory
API connection failures

Common causes:

  • Invalid API credentials
  • Firewall blocking outbound connections
  • SSL certificate issues
  • Organization API key expired

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Verify API key in plugin settings matches organization's key
  2. Test API endpoint connectivity from server
  3. Check SSL certificate validity
  4. Regenerate API key if necessary
Shortcode rendering issues

Common causes:

  • Theme conflicts with shortcode output
  • Caching plugin serving stale content
